Hello kittens!
Em and I worked all day today to finish up two episodes that have been in the development for months, one of which was our Halloween episode, ep. 105. We started writing ep. 105 back in May of last year. It's current ideation is titled, "The Great Gratsby," and I am so excited to share it with you someday soon-ish! I don't want to spoil it for you, but I think it's super fun and it will quite possibly charm your pants off. That's what I hope at least. We've spent a lot of time in the last two weeks talking about the back half of the first season and how we hope to structure it. I think we have some pretty good concrete ideas at this point and I'm feeling really good about the season's overall story arc.
Like Emilia, I am so incredibly in love with some of these characters. I hope to start introducing them to you soon (maybe with some concept art???). I don't want to give you too many preconceived ideas about what's ahead but I'm incredibly anxious to start sharing. We have spent so much time developing these characters and getting to know them, they feel very real and tangible to me. I can't speak for Em, but I think by sharing our scripts, we're blurring the line between fiction and reality. Suddenly, this whole other world I've been living in for months (years in some cases), is going to be exposed. This is my [Relationship George] and as we know, a George divided amongst itself cannot stand. So this big. This is really, really big. And I am... excited and nervous and feeling a lot of feelings I don't have the emotional intelligence to describe.
That said, I adore you all. Thanks for taking the journey with us.
Xxxxxxx,
Caitlin

Lovelies,
We're getting so close to finally being able to start the season here on the website, and I for one am thrilled! A couple (literally) of episodes to go, plus some editing tweaks, and we'll have our scripts up for all to see. (Maybe during sweeps!? As though that matters at all...)
More than anything I'm excited to to hear what people have to say. I want to know that our characters and our stories are hitting the right emotional marks. I'm going through a lot of things in my own personal life right now, and if nothing else, I'm hoping some of that intensity of feeling comes through in our scripts. We've posted literally nothing to the world, but I'm so in love with and a part of these characters already that I feel like it just has to resonate with someone. Anyone. That's all I'm asking.
Also, we don't really have a title yet. Hence the "Untitled Project" moniker. What do you name a television sitcom/drama/sci-fi/action about living with super heroes in the real world? A world with bills and bad Chinese food and burlesque dancers and subpoenas and most of all friendship (not the fountain dancing kind)? ... I have no idea. We've still got a couple of weeks to figure it out, I guess. Wish us luck!
See you soon,
Emilia
